Weirdly Happy

           Today I feel happy. Weirdly happy. I mean, I have no particular reason to be joyous, but I still am. I had an absolute nightmare of a day. I slept late yesterday, survived the day on coffee, and I was handed important work on the very day I couldn’t concentrate. The weekend pretty much sucked, I didn’t get to read anything, and in general I didn’t do anything noteworthy. But today I still am happy. Something good must have happened. So let us do the usual updates. Arsenal. The performances have been below par for quite a while now. Four wins in the past fifteen games is not form to be proud of. We are out of the race for the Premier League title, have spurned the chance to make history in the FA Cup and have shot ourselves in the foot massively against Barcelona. I am not at all that optimistic about the return leg at the Camp Nou. But still I am optimistic about our season. Why? The romantic in me refuses to let go. The cynic inside me says all is over.
